Situation

So, I'm in a bit of a pickle, or dillema, or predicament, whatever you want to call it....

You remember hot guy and cute guy right? Hot guy is the one I live near, and cute guy is the one that rides my bus. Well I like both of them so much, and I just find it very agonizing. And can I just point out: GUYS IN CANADA DON'T KNOW HOW TO FLIRT!!! Seriously, like they'll talk to you, but I think they just aren't capable of it! Anyway cute guy and I like a lot of the same music and we spent a whole day together last weekend walking around downtown. But hot guy is so hot, and we like a lot of the same movies, and it is really easy to talk to him. So I don't know who I like more. That's the problem, by the way. And Plug says I don't really have to chose at this point but, I mean, for my sanity it'd probably be better if I did. Basically I don't know. I don't know who I like more, especially because I can see myself with both of them...ugh.

Do you not like hot guy?

I say go with cute. Music is more important than movies.

If either of them are American then I choose that one. If either of them speak French then I choose against that one. If either of them is from a wealthy family then I choose that one. If either of them buys you lots of stuff then I choose that one. If one of them can cook then I choose that one. If one of them doesn't like Kraft Mac and Cheese then I choose against that one.

What's with the elimination dilemma?

You were born in Tx, so there has to be at least an ounce of "southern belle-ness" in you which tells you to balance everything, and keep both cute guy and hot guy on your line. And from what you've said neither one is requiring your exclusive attention. Therefore, be generous and allow both to bask in your radiant presence. And think of both of them as extremely lucky!

Rake, honey, there is nothing wrong with keeping a first runner up in reserve. This reminds me of all those pageants in which, if Mr. Right for any reason cannot fulfill his duties, the runner-up will step in and take his place.

As Chill recently pointed out to me, it is okay to go for Mr. Right Now until Mr. Right comes along. As a wise gentleman, he waited until after moving me down here before revealing this info. I go with Plug's advice and say there is no hurry in choosing. Enjoy the best of both relationships and don't let either of them believe they are exclusive so they have no reason to believe you are playing games that are hurtful.

Oh--and if it comes to a vote, I vote against the Kraft Mac and Cheese guy, especially if the other one knows how to make baked mac and cheese!

Jaz - no two ways about it, you're one high maintenance chick.

Alright alright...

Polio- as a matter of fact, hot guy is musical, he's in a band, drummer and everything! And he was section leader of drum core!!!

Dagromm- neither of them are American but cute guy did live in Florida for a couple years. But he is also pretty good at french too so...I'm not sure if either of them is all that 'wealthy' even though hot guy's house is pretty big. I don't know about those last two.....

LIT- Well of course I'm going to keep them in balance, it's just sometimes hard on my brain.

Goo- I do have a bad feeling though that if something happens with one that it will totally ruin the chances of anything ever happening with the other, and that would SUCK!!!

Jaz- I'm not in a hurry to choose, especially since neither of them actually like me like that, but there's something unsettling to myself of not having a...what's the word...main person that I can always think about!

Goo--Chill has taken us out for dinner several times and has cooked dinner some. He grills a mean steak and his pork ribs were pretty good. Alas, I have to bake the mac and cheese myself. (sigh)

Drop em both. If they're too dumb to flirt, they'll never be able to keep up with you.

Look for that guy in the back of the science class reading comic books. That's the sign if greatness.
